Marian Gaborik

Marian Gaborik (born February 14, 1982 in Trencin)
He is currently playing fot the team Minnesota Wild. He was drafted from the third place in first round in the entry draft of NHL in 2008. Minesota Wild is the one from the newest team of NHL. In his first season he showed that his talent is enormous. He scored 18 goals and also assisted on 18 goals. In next season he scored 30 times and became one of the most dangerous offensive players. The following season in 2002-2003 he was nominated by fans to NHL All-Star Game and he won the skater competition. 2004-2005 was Lockout in NHL and he returned to the Slovakia to help his mother-club HC Dukla Trencin. He had 52 points in 29 games.
Marian has also frquetly problems with his health. In January 2009 he underwent surgery. Pessimistic prognose was that this will be and of his carrier. But opposite is true. In second match after operation he created new this season record. He scored 2 times and also assist on 2 goals. He seems fit and he will be very helpful for his team who is fighting for possition which provides them place in play-off matches.
