Finally. One of the most spoken words on Thursday or Friday on all secondary schools in the Slovak republic. Passing a leaving exam as a test of maturity, can be considered by the first step to the adult’s world. An exam from Slovak language is divided into external and internal part which is divided into test from grammar and literature and verbal response. English, German, French or Russian language were verified on Wednesday, students could choose from levels A and B and it was also divided into internal and external part. The last day of stress was Thursday, 21.3. when students demonstrated knowledge from Maths. It is necessary to say that this written part is only a half of leaving exam and students continue on May by verbal representation of their knowledge from certain subjects which they chose. In my opinion, a leaving exam is a base of successful occupative life. Nowadays, not the leaving exam but the university degree is considered by an inseparable part of Curriculum Vitae when people want to succeed in life.
