What had happened?
In the first period of match between Detrit Red Wings and ST. Louis Blues Hossa shooted on home goalman and after shot when he was standing on one leg, defender of ST.Louis - czech player Roman Polak hited him and he cash on barrier with his arms and head. This hit was clear, no rules were broken but it came in the bad time for Hossa
„When I saw how he cash on barrier, I feel very bad. My intention wasn’t to hurt him I just wanted to kept him away from puck. „ said Roman Polak.
Detrit won this match despite of the loss of Hossa. The main credit on this had next Slovak player in Red Wings team- Tomas Kopecky. He shooted one goal and assisted on 2 goals. He was the third star of match.
