BEYONCE



Beyonce Giselle Knowles as a young girl would drown out everyone, including the church choir, on Sundays at church. At eight years old, she met Latavia Robertson while auditioning for a girls` musical group. Matthew Knowles, his manager and father, later paired the two with Letoya Luckett. In 1992, cousin Kelly Rowland joined the group, and they performed together as Destiny`s Child. In 1997 “No, No, No” became their first official single. Beyonce had three top ten hits within the year:”Jumpin, Jumpin”, “Say My Name” and “Bills, Bills, Bills”. They became one of the best-selling female groups. Their second album sold more than nine million units worldwide.

Later Letoya and Latavia left the group because of management struggles. Destiny`s Child took home two awards, Best R&B Song and Best Performance. Their third album was called Survivor. The success of “Survivor” resulted in another Grammy for the group in February 2002. In fact, the American Music, MTV, Soul Train and Image Awards all showered the group with praise.

After all this success, the group`s three talented girls decided to try their solo careers. Beyonce became so famous with her strong voice and vocals. Her first album was organized, she had a hit with Jay-Z called “Bonnie and Clyde and also Dangerously love. She created the club hit “Baby Boy” and the pop success “Crazy Love”. She also can be seen in ads for L`Oreal and Pepsi. Fans never must wait to news of their favorite R&B star, because she loves her job. Singing and dancing are two important part of her life.
