Slovak hockey reprezentation team won in an international pre-match against Czech hockey team 4:1. It was a revenge match against Czech team for the last year shame-making loss in Prague 0:7. Coach Jan Filca and his team were leading 3:0 after the first period. The second period was withouth a goal, but in the second minute of the third period a Czech player Kvapilov scored goal. The last and the final goal was made by Bartecko, who set the final result 4:1. Slovak hockey reprezentation team won the second international pre-match against Czech team 5:1 in Trenčín. The goals were scored in a 93 second interval between the 6 and 8 minute of the game by Štefan Ružička, Ladislav Nagy and Ľuboš Bartečko. The fourth goal was scored by Marcel Hossa and the fifth goal was taken by Štefan Ružička. It was also the Slovak 100 goal against Czech in history. Coach Jan Filca and his team achieved the tenth jubilee victory against Czech.
